Latvijas balzams invests 1 million euros in further process automation

The Board of the Joint stock company Latvijas balzams (hereinafter also ‘the Company’) shares plans to invest in production more than 1 million euros in cooperation with one of the most powerful robotics and production process automation solutions in the Baltic region – Peruza. As a result of the investment project, a new automatic cardboard box scanning, sorting, palletizing and packaging line will be established at the Latvijas balzams factory.

“We continue to invest in our development. Thanks to modern robotics and automation solutions, the new line will speed up and stabilize the palletizing process of the finished product, allowing us to increase the overall productivity of the factory and delivery accuracy to our clients,” says Intars Geidāns, Chairman of the Board of JSC Latvijas balzams. “With 13 production lines and full-cycle production, which continues to become more competitive thanks to such projects, we are ready to become one of the strongest producers of beverages in Europe,” concludes Intars Geidāns.
