Considering the requirements of Article 59’ paragraphs 7 and 10 of the Law on Financial Instrument Market the Board of the Joint Stock Company Latvijas balzams (hereinafter – “the Company”) informs that a transaction has been concluded with AS “Luminor bank” and related parties of the Company – Amber Beverage Group Holding S.à r.l., Luxembourg, SIA Amber Distribution Latvia, AS Interbaltija AG, SIA Amber Beverage Group and Bennet Distributors UAB, Lithuania, of amendments in existing overdraft contract with a total overdraft limit amount EUR 22,7 million in extension of its term till 31.01.2021. The impact of the transaction on the Company’s commercial activities is evaluated positively.
The transaction is also forecasted to have a positive impact on the shareholders of the Company, which are not considered as related parties to the transaction, as the Company will receive additional income. The Audit committee opinion on the transaction has been obtained.
