On the occasion of the Annual General Meeting of shareholders of JSC “Latvijas balzams”, a new Supervisory Council was elected on 27 June.
At the shareholders’ meeting, it was decided that Petr Aven, Rolands Gulbis and Valizhan Abidov had been appointed to the Supervisory Board of Latvijas balzams for the next term of office, while Aleksandrs Maslo and Velga Celmina had been newly elected as members of the Supervisory Board instead of Sergejs Limarenko and Olegs Alainis, who had not resumed their duties.
Rolands Gulbis was appointed to the position of the Council Chairman, and Valizhans Abidov was elected as the Deputy Head of the Council. Taking into account the basic principles of a transparent business, none of the five members of the Supervisory Board owns shares of JSC “Latvijas balzams”. The Council was elected for a five-year term, with the beginning of the term of office on 27 June 2019.
